Kat has been asked to clear and pack up Aubrey's apartment. Danny drops in and intends to help. There is obviously attraction between the couple. The investigation takes on further twists and this time it involves Kat. Secrets in more ways than one. A future to decide. Feelings to be faced and the possible consequences as there is more to consider and others involved. Secrets being hidden only go so far and Kat's obstinacy can be a factor. Danny's concerns over safety and his failings in regards to Aubrey's situation is something he has to come to terms with. Twists and turns. Look forward to book 3. This is book two in The Lucky Town series and it is Danny and Kat's story and omg it is definitely a must read. Danny and Kat are at each others throats all the time and they can't seem to agree on anything but the chemistry between them is so strong and intense that it is off the charts hot. This book takes you on a roller coaster ride and twists and turns along with danger, suspense, guilt, loyalty, hope, love, intrigue and some very emotional situations that have you turning the pages to see what would happen next and it kept you on the edge of your seat trying to figure out who the killer was and omg I just couldn't put this book down as it was so addictive and I can't wait to read the next book in this amazing series. I Voluntarily Reviewed a Copy of This Book.

The second book in the A Lucky Town Novel series. Agent Danny O’Rourke and Kat Caldwell's story is well written and kept me turning pages. There is suspense, drama, danger, and old villain reappears and romance. I want to read the next book. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
